Having become involved in milling 21 years ago, Gia Carrozzi followed in her father’s footsteps in wood-work, as he was a master carpenter; she still has a picture of him helping her build a shelf at age three, which is her inspiration to continue. For the past19 years, she has been the sawmill owner and operator of True Cut Custom Milling LLC.  There, Ms. Carrossi provides custom milling services with a specialty in  timber, especially large, very high quality pieces, such as $3 million worth of massive redwood beams.

Throughout her work-wee, Ms. Carrozzi predominantly mills old redwood, but also makes custom lumber, slabs and timbers. She owns five locations, and has taught hundreds of people how to run mills during the years. To keep her leadership and milling abilities fine-tuned, Ms. Carrozzi holds memberships with the National Women’s Professional Association and the Redwood Association.

Among the many highlights of Ms. Carrozzi’s career, a notable one to mention was having been featured in magazines and seminars.
