Having studied child psychology while obtaining a Bachelor of Science at Colorado State University, Brenda Storey began to recognize the effects in youth, and decided that family law was the path she ultimately needed to take as a professional. As she wields 20 garnered years in the legal arena, it has only been the last two years she has been providing services under the title, The Law Offices of Brenda L. Storey, P.C. In five years, Ms. Storey intends to continue to serve her community with their family law needs.

Throughout her work-week, Ms. Storey provides seasoned experience in family law and custody cases to provide individualized attention to each client’s case. Proudly, she has since earned the various awards from Martindale-Hubbell and Super Lawyers, and was one of 24 listees through the American Registry. Initially, Ms. Storey witnessed the effects of children during divorce, and wanted to change that discourse professionally, and found family law was the perfect outlet to help.

Ms. Storey received a JD from the Nova Southeastern Law University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, earning Honors and Summa Cum Laude distinctions. Since graduation, she has kept abreast of changes in her profession through her memberships with ABA, Colorado Bar Association, The Denver Bar Association, and the Douglas-Elbert Bar Association. During her free-time, Ms. Storey volunteers with The Family Law Basic Skills Seminar.
